There is a well-known stat in data science: 80% of the time goes on preparing data, 20% on actually analysing it.
In wind energy, that feels about right. Getting measurement data from an instrument into the tool where the analysis happens has always taken more effort than it should.
We have just made one part of that easier. Moli now exports lidar, met mast, and sodar data in windPRO format.

WindPRO is one of the most widely used tools in wind resource assessment, and getting clean measurement data into it quickly matters. We are building Moli to be the place wind energy teams come back to when they need to access and pass on their data with confidence. This is one piece of that.
